    "These bikes each sport a 4 horsepower Tecumseh 4 stroke engine. They have a top speed of about 20 to 30 mph. They were made only in 1971 by Arctic Enterprises of Theif River Falls, Minnesota. There were only about 200,000 of this model made".2

    "The 'Ramrod' was the top-of-the-line minibike produced by Arctic Cat in 1970. The price new was $300.00. Its 2-stroke Kawasaki 7.5 hp engine and torque convertor drive system yielded 50+ mph according to some reports."3

    "Arctic Enterprises, Inc. (Thief River Falls, Minnesota) offers the Screamer , which is powered by a Chrysler 8 hp engine. The transmission is snowmobile-type torque converter, the knobby tires measure 14" X 6", and suspension is telescopic fork in the front and swing arm in the rear. The machine weighs 94 pounds and has a ground clearance of 7". Price: $289.95" (c.1972)4

    Although the SST is classified as a mini-cycle, it was incredilby fast and really seperated itself from the rest of the class in terms of speed and performance--it is almost a racing vehicle.

  12. Arctic Cat Whisker "Arctic Enterprises, Inc. also offers a sleek looking mini that weighs only 90 pounds. The Whisker is powered by a Sachs 2-cycle engine with a gearbox that houses a 2-speed automatic transmission, and wide, knobby 12.5" tires that ride on 6" diameter aluminum wheels. Load-leveling rear shocks and telescopic front forks aid the driver in comfort and machine handling. For safety, fuel shut-off valves, folding rubber foot pegs, twist-grip throttle, and shutoff switch are included. Price: $199.95" (c.1972)4
