  1. GT-18 Boonie-Bike Heath Boonie-Bike

"The Heath Co. offers a GT-18 "Boonie-Bike" that can be assembled in one evening session. No special mechanical knowledge is required. The Briggs & Stratton engine is pre-assembled, tested, and tuned for the road, and it comes mounted on the steel frame. The entire assembly procedure is fairly simple and progresses in an orderly sequence since there are step by step instructions and giant fold-out pictorials that detail everything down to the last nut and bolt.

Once completed, you have a rugged, small, lightweight (116 pounds) vehicle with sufficient power to handle all trail conditions. An interesting accessory is the ski that can be attached to the underside of the front wheel. This functional item enables the driver to run over surf, wet sand, and snow to extend the riding season to all year round. Price: $180; Accessory: Ski, $20." 1
